    Our Children’s Ministry serves children from newborn through age 12, providing a safe, loving, and faith-filled environment where they can grow and learn about God.


    Nuestro Ministerio Infantil sirve a niños desde recién nacidos hasta los 12 años, brindando un ambiente seguro, amoroso y lleno de fe donde pueden crecer y aprender acerca de Dios.

    WORSHIP MINISTRY | MINISTERIO DE ADORACIÓN

    Our Worship Ministry is centered on God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—and is devoted to glorifying Him through praise, worship, and lives fully surrendered to His will. We believe that all things are from Him, through Him, and for Him, and to Him be the glory forever. Amen. (Romans 11:36)


    Nuestro Ministerio de Alabanza está centrado en Dios—Padre, Hijo y Espíritu Santo—y está dedicado a glorificarle por medio de la alabanza, la adoración y vidas completamente rendidas a Su voluntad.     Founder’s Legacy / Legado de Nuestra Fundadora

    We honor the life and legacy of the founder of our church, Iglesia Amistad Cristiana de las Asambleas de Dios, Pastora Elvia Peña. She is survived by her husband, Pastor Juan Peña, and their three children, Jackie Barrios, Mical Peña, and Jeremy Peña. In 2000, the Lord called her to serve in the San Gabriel Valley, and until He called her into His presence, she faithfully and wholeheartedly served the Kingdom of God together with her family. Her legacy of service and the preaching of the infallible truth of Christ Jesus continues through her family and this church community.


    Honramos la vida y el legado de la fundadora de nuestra iglesia, Iglesia Amistad Cristiana de las Asambleas de Dios, la Pastora Elvia Peña. Le sobreviven su esposo, el Pastor Juan Peña, y sus tres hijos, Jackie Barrios, Mical Peña y Jeremy Peña. En el año 2000, el Señor la llamó a servir en el Valle de San Gabriel, y hasta que la llamó a Su presencia, sirvió fielmente y de todo corazón al Reino de Dios junto a su familia. Su legado de servicio y de la predicación de la verdad infalible de Cristo Jesús continúa a través de su familia y de esta comunidad de fe.

    Jackie Barrios, MPA

    Jackie Barrios was born and raised in South Central Los Angeles. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Hope International University and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of La Verne. For over 10 years, she has served underserved individuals and families with excellence, compassion, and dedication. She has also served in ministry for more than 20 years alongside her parents, the founders of the church, helping lead others to Christ through worship, service, and community.


    Jackie Barrios nació y creció en el sur de Los Ángeles. Tiene una licenciatura en Psicología de Hope International University y una maestría en Administración Pública de la University of La Verne. Por más de 10 años, ha servido a personas y familias vulnerables con excelencia, compasión y dedicación. También ha servido en el ministerio por más de 20 años junto a sus padres, los fundadores de la iglesia, guiando a otros a Cristo a través de la adoración, el servicio y la comunidad.
